From the M54, follow on to the A5 At the junction of the A5/A49 (N) take the A49 right towards Whitchurch or follow signs to Battlefield industrial estate At the next main roundabout go straight on carrying on the A49 At the next roundabout turn left on the A5124 towards Ellesmere Turn right on the next roundabout down the B5067 towards Baschurch Turn left towards Leaton Finish on the right at The Old Station (turning before the railway lines).

Public Transport
If you do not have a car then a stay at The Old Station Guest House B&B will be no problem. Just give us your time of arrival into Shrewsbury either by bus or train and we will pick you up FREE OF CHARGE. At the end of your holiday we will take you to the bus depot or railway station FREE OF CHARGE in time to make your return journey.
Whilst staying at The Old Station you may wish to travel by public transport. The Shrewsbury to Oswestry bus service passes the end of the driveway and the bus can be hailed from there. The route passes through Shrewsbury, The Old Station B&B at Leaton, Bomere Heath, Yeaton, Baschurch, Ruyton X1 Towns, Shottatton, Knockin, Maesbury and Oswestry and the buses return via the reverse route to Shrewsbury.
When you arrive at Shrewsbury Bus Depot you will then have the option of visiting the historic town itself or choose to catch another bus from there to all parts of Shropshire, Cheshire and the Welsh Borders. Telford, Ironbridge, Bridgnorth, Church Stretton, Much Wenlock, Bishops Castle and Ludlow are some of the many attractions in Shropshire and such preserved steam railway lines which can be found at Llangollen, Welshpool and the Severn Valley Railway at Bridgnorth are an enjoyable day out using the public transport to get there when you don’t want to use your car.
A 300m walk from the Shrewsbury Bus Depot will lead you to the Victorian “mediaeval style” Railway Station, opened in 1849 and situated below Shrewsbury Castle.
