Ludlow Castle Room
This suite sleeps up to 2 adults.
Although still quite a large room, measuring 4m by 3.2m (13′ by 10’6″), this is the smallest of our 6 guest bedrooms and has a really cosy feel. Strangely, the window is part of a glazed stable door which overlooks the end of the property (you may ask the owners its purpose whilst you are staying). The furniture comprises a Breton solid oak “marriage” Standard double bed dating from 1880. It has ships wheels, a man and woman wearing clogs and a church carved into the head and footboards. Beside the bed is a matching “pot” cupboard with a man playing a flute carved into the door and a pair of matching dining chairs with the same figures carved into the backs. To complete the furniture there is a 1930 oak chest of drawers on which you will find your hospitality tray of tea/coffee making facilities and a 1930 oak wardrobe. Again, the bedroom is heated by a radiator.
The shower room comprises a highly decorated Victorian style toilet and sink, a step-in power shower, a shaving socket (240/115v) with light, a highly decorated hand painted mirror and a radiator.
